Behemoth

Behemoth is a Polish blackened death metal band from Gdańsk, formed in 1991. They are considered to have played an important role in establishing the Polish extreme metal underground with Vader and Hate. Behemoth have been referred to as "a leading light in the Polish metal scene." The band's releases have received acclaim from major publications. In 2016, the staff of Loudwire named them the 50th-best metal band of all time.
